The Fifth Continental Africa Conference in Solidarity with Cuba has called for an end to what it termed an “illegal economic, commercial and financial blockade” imposed by the United States on Cuba. The 183 countries, 26 from Africa and beyond, further expressed solidarity to the people of Western Sahara, Palestine and Venezuela, for self-rule without outside interference.
