-The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) will seek legal advice on the interpretation of Section 77 of the Electoral Act of 2014, which states that nominated persons employed in the civil service must resign from their positions, to contest in the National Assembly elections. A senior official at the ECN who spoke on condition of anonymity told the NBC that the consultative meeting with political parties failed to yield satisfactory results.
