The Namibian newspaper’s Nomhle Kangootuui is 2019’s Journalist of the Year. Kangootui received this honour at the maiden Editors’ Forum of Namibia journalism awards. Catherine Sasman of the Namibian Sun scooped the Agriculture and Environment Journalist of the Year for her story on the illegal harvesting of timber in the Kavango Regions.
