Elephants caused havoc at the Musese Green Scheme project in the Kavango West Region. Elephants have damaged maize crops that were to be harvested in February 2017. The green scheme is a project between government and a local farmer, that provides maize meal and animal feed for homes all over Namibia, including government’s drought relieve programs.
