United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) representative to Namibia says the current systems in place are failing to ensure food security for all. The 2019 Namibian Vulnerability Assessment Committee report states that close to 290 000 people are experiencing food insecurity and the number is expected to rise.
