The Ministry of Finance has warned health professionals to desist from asking PSEMAS clients to pay upfront. This follow a false audio clip and article, circulating on social network platforms which claim PSEMAS members and their dependents would henceforth be required to pay in cash for health services rendered, and claim afterwards from the Scheme. In a statement the Ministry says PSEMAS clients are not required to pay in cash for professional health services and if that happens, clients will be informed.
