The former Cuban leader Fidel Castro Ruz was laid to rest in the Santa Ifigenia cemetery in Santiago de Cuba on Sunday. Paying his respect to his elder brother, Cuban President Raul Castro Ruz committed to uphold the legacy of Fidel, to the cheers of thousands of Cuban mourners gathered at the memorial site.
