Economist Johaness !Gawaxab warns that an outbreak of coronavirus in Namibia could affect the economy severely and possibly result in a shortage of food and medical supplies. !Gawaxab, who is also the chairperson of the High-Level Panel on the Namibian Economy believes that the local tourism, aviation, and hospitality sectors will be the hardest hit if no adequate emergency response plan is in place.
