Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration tried to shut the door on discussing a motion in the National Council on the need to provide free sanitary towels to needy school girls in Namibia. The motion, tabled by DTA President McHenry Venaani last week seeks to find ways to make sanitary towels more accessible to girls who miss out on schools when they get their periods.
