The Inspector-General of the Namibian Police, Sebastian Ndeitunga has warned against assault or manhandling of suspects by law enforcement officers, unless in self-defence. Lieutenant-General Ndeitunga says, his office has received complaints of officers brutally assaulting members of the public, although they remain allegations for now.
