There is a need to advocate for the rights of women and girls in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to break gender stereotypes that link these fields to masculinity. These sentiments were shared by various speakers at the 2020 International Day of Women and Girls in Science celebration in Windhoek today.
