A decision by the Regional Councilor of Rundu Rural Constituency, to stop the drilling of a borehole at Kambowo-village, east of Rundu, almost caused discord among residents. Residents were of the view that the borehole in the area was promised by the Minister of Industrialisation and Trade, Lucia Ipumbu, during last year’s election campaign. However, Ipumbu explained that she pledged to donate a water tank which is still to be installed.
