The Governor of the //Karas Region, Lucia Basson has welcomed the construction of a 10-megawatt solar plant, which is currently under construction, near Keetmanshoop. In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Basson reiterated the importance of renewable energy which she says is gaining momentum in the region.
