A commercial plane from Amsterdam, Netherlands, carrying 35 Namibians, has just landed at the Hosea Kutako International Aiport. The Health Ministry says the group will be quarantined for 14 days before they are allowed to go home. Screening is done on board, the ones who show symptoms will go to the quarentine facility in ambulances and the rest in a City of Windhoek bus. KLM, the Dutch national carrier, has also announced flights rescheduling to and from Namibia due to COVID-19. It says flights are secured only until 26 March and will be suspended as from 27 March until further notice. KLM will fly directly from and to Namibia as Angola close it’s airspace due to COVID-19.
