The electronic voting machines (EVM) which were loaned out to election stakeholders for training and voter education purposes will not be used in the National Elections. Chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) advocate Notemba Tjipueja says the devices loaned to political parties and other organisations in their internal elections are meant to intensify ECNs efforts to increase public awareness and confidence in the use of the EVMs.
