DTA of Namibia has rejected clause four of the Local Authorities Amendment Bill which gives the Urban and Rural Development Minister power to suspend any member of a Local Authority Council. The Bill was however passed with amendments as only four voted against, four abstained, while 46 where in favour of the amendment.
