Despite medical experts giving up on a young boy, who was diagnosed with severe structural brain malformation as an infant, the love and protection he receives on a daily basis from his family and friends keep his hopes alive. Maxton Coetie, who doctors predicted would not live past the age of two, is still alive and kicking eight years down the line.
