Malawi’s President Peter Mutharika instituted a reduction of the government executive’s salaries by 10% as part of concerted efforts in the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak. Professor Mutharika made the call in a special address to the nation following the confirmation of the fourth case of Coronavirus in Blantyre.
