A resident of Omatando village in Ongwediva constituency Demetries Mingelius is calling on Namibians to develop a culture of having home orchard and backyard gardens to produce fruit and vegetables for their own consumption and income generation. Mingelius and her husband started with a plantation of 10 mango trees in their yard in 2009.
