The Metal and Allied Namibian Workers Union (MANWU) has called on the Government to implement the directive that prioritises local contractors in mega construction projects. MANWU says the implementation would rescue the ailing construction industry and prevent further job losses. The union’s leadership met President Hage Geingob and cluster ministers to present a set of recommendations at State House.
