Government and private businesses will have to work together to adapt to the future in advancing Namibia into the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Information and Communication Technology Permanent Secretary Mbeuta Ua-Ndjarakana made the statement at the closure of the Fifth National ICT Summit in Windhoek yesterday. The meeting developed a series of strategies and plans to transform the country into a digitised country that uses, promotes, innovates and benefits from the numerous contributions the information and communication technology industry offer. Ua-Ndjarakana said the summit further came up with endorsements to pave the way for future collaboration. He said Namibia should position ICT as a vital component to achieve greater efficiency and success for service delivery to ensure sustainable development goals. The Fifth National Information and Communication Technology ICT Summit saw about 2 634 enthusiasts actively participating in its deliberations.
