Research carried out by the Benguela Current Commission must be demand driven and owned by the its member states. The Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Bernhard Esau, made these remarks during the sixth Ministerial Conference of the Benguela Current Commission (BCC) in Windhoek.
