Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare together with the World Food Programme (WFP) have introduced a new biometric system for beneficiaries of the Food Bank Project. Food Bank’s Control Administrator Tangeni Mwashekele says the new system aims to prevent fraudulent activities during the collection of food parcels for beneficiaries.
