The Miss Namibia pageant Friday morning revealed the national costume of Miss Namibia for the Miss Universe 2018 pageant. The costume draws inspiration from Namibia’s crown jewel, the rare quality gem diamond. The dress embodies the spirit of Namibia and her beautiful people reads a statement released by the pageant. The dress was designed and made over a period of two months by renowned Namibian designer Cobus Moller. “The importance to put Namibia on the international map by using the prestigious diamond is very important to me,” says Moller. The Miss Universe pageant for 2018 will take place on 18 December in Bangkok, Thailand.
