A three-year-old daughter is recovering in the Keetmanshoop State Hospital in the //Kharas Region after he was stabbed twice in the back by his 36-year-old mother. Regional Police Commander, Commissioner Dawid Ndongo, says the shocking incident was reported on Saturday and the woman was arrested and is charged for attempted murder. The commissioner said the motive for the stabbing is not known as the suspect, when asked by the arresting officers for the reason she attacked the child, was only crying. The suspect made her first appearance in court Monday, while police investigations continue.
