Founding President Sam Nujoma said Namibia and Cuba’s relationship will continue to be active despite the death of that country’s former President Fidel Castro. Nujoma said the two countries’ relationship is formed through blood shed during the liberation struggle and that that bond will remain unbroken. He was speaking to NBC News in Havana Cuba before his departure to Namibia this morning . Nujoma was one of the millions of people who attended the memorial service of Cuba’s Former president. He led a delegation comprising of Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba and other senior government and swapo party officials. Castro who died on Friday aged 90 will be buried on Sunday in Santiago.
