The Namibian Breweries has donated a state of the art eye testing machine to the Windhoek Central Hospital’s Eye Clinic. The clinic is run by Dr. Helena Ndume and Dr. Sven Obholzer. Dr Ndume says eye testing had thus far been a lengthy process, but that the new machine would improve efficiency and accuracy. The machine will also test the eyesight of patients affected by diabetic eye disease. Dr Ndume said the machine, valued at 700 000, is going to make their work easier. NBL Global Marketing Manager Rosemary Shipiki said the company was committed to the health of all Namibians.
