Namibia still does not have a COVID-19-related death. Health Minister Dr Kalumbi Shangula earlier this evening confirmed that the person who died enroute to hospital last night did not die of COVID-19. Dr Shangula said the female returned home from work last night and shortly thereafter needed medical attention. She was taken to hospital by ambulance, but succumbed on the way and was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. He said although the person did not display any symptoms or signs of COVID-19, the National Institute of Pathology conducted a test this afternoon and that test returned negative. Namibia has 16 COVID-19 cases with four recoveries.
