The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora Conference also known as the (CITES) is expected to take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in May this year. For this year’s conference Namibia has submitted a proposal that seeks to amend regulations aimed at protecting elephants and rhinos against poaching.
