Namibia has reiterated its commitment to continue nurturing its bilateral relations with China. Economic Planning Minister Obed Kandjoze highlighted a number of Chinese projects in Namibia which he said transformed the Namibian economy. On the other hand, Chinese Ambassador to Namibia Zhang Yiming said Namibia and Africa as a whole, can largely benefit from the Asian country’s ‘Belt and Road Initiative’ a similar outfit to Africa’s Continental Free Trade Area. They made the remarks during the China-Namibia Think Tanks and Media Dialogue underway in the capital.
