President Hage Geingob’s bilateral meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe, on the sidelines of Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD), is likely to focus on skills transfer and the building of a digital economy. Namibia’s Ambassador to Japan, Morven Luswenyo in an interview with NBC News in Yokohama, Japan said that Namibia wants to promote and capitalise on vocational skills at the seventh edition of the Tokyo conference. President Geingob left for Japan on Monday to attend the summit.
