Namibia tops the African continent in terms of the number of road deaths and injuries. The latest figures reveal that about 19 000 accidents occur every year with more than 700 deaths and 7 000 people left disabled. The latest statistics were released during a workshop on ‘Road Safety Management’ in Windhoek.
