Under normal circumstances, Easter weekend serves as a holiday for many Christians in Namibia to attend church services. It is also one of the weekends that many families and friends get together for a braai, have potjies and perhaps an Easter egg hunt. But the COVID-19 state of emergency has cancelled all these celebrations, and it has also put a limit on social contact. NBC’s Emil Seibeb finds out how churches in Namibia’s busiest city, Windhoek, plan to spend their Easter weekend this year.
