Correctional Services in Namibia do not fully comply with the UN Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners, now known as the Nelson Mandela Rules. This was revealed by Commissioner-General of the Namibia Correctional Services Raphael Hamunyela, at a review of an internal inspection, conducted at all 13 correctional facilities countrywide.
