The acting Inspector-General of the Namibian Police (NAMPOL) has condemned assaults on civilians by members of Operation Kalahari Desert, describing their actions as unlawful, and noting it would not be condoned. Major-General Oscar Embubulu said this when he addressed a media conference in Windhoek.
