The Namibia National Labour Organisation (NANLO) and its affiliates have joined in the widespread criticism that has followed the Government’s decision to auction off fishing quotas to the highest bidder. The Government, however, explained that proceeds from the auctioning of fishing quotas will go towards COVID-19 mitigation efforts.
