National Assembly (NA) members wasted little time on their first day back putting the Government on the spot regarding the Fishrot scandal that rocked Namibia during the parliamentary recess. Most of the notices of questions were directed to the acting Fisheries Minister Albert Kawana, acting Justice Minister Frans Kapofi and Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila. Lawmakers from the opposition said they are watching with keen interest how the Government is treating the Fishrot allegations, vowing to hold the sitting Government accountable and expect nothing else but revealing answers.
