The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security’s issuance of national documents and border control came under scrutiny in the National Council during the debate of the Mid-Term Budget Review. Various MPs questioned the effectiveness of the Ministry in reaching all corners of the country to cater for those who cannot travel to towns for services while some allege that the Ministry is failing to control the movement of people between Namibia and Angola.
