Over the years, the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) has observed with concern the number of unaccredited institutions operating across the country. Now, at the start of the new academic year, NQA once again warns the nation against bogus institutions – saying if people do not pay attention, they will end up wasting their money and their time. NQA chief executive officer Franz Gertze says it is important that prospective students verify the accreditation status of both the institutions and the specific courses they plan to pursue before enrolling or registering for such course.
