Training offered by Correctional Service Centres countrywide will now be accredited by the Namibia Qualification Authority (NTA). The Namibia Training Authority and the Namibian Correctional Service signed a five year memorandum of understanding. Vocational training is part of the correctional services’ rehabilitation programme and makes it easier for offenders to find employment, or become self-employed upon their release.
