The Labour Commissioner Henry Kaasen has not yet responded to the demands made by the Namibian Wildlife Resort’s (NWR) employees to issue them with the strike rules by close of business on Tuesday. NWR employees received a certificate of unresolved dispute on 8 November and has since been waiting on the Labour Commissioner to issue them with the strike rules. The workers say they have on many occasions attempted to engage the Labour Commissioner and NWR management to discuss the strike rules but their attempts are being ignored.
