The electrification of several villages in the Ohangwena Region will significantly improve and grow small businesses in the area. The Engela Constituency Development Committee has prioritised rural electrification of business stalls for SMEs to stimulate economic growth in the constituency and the region at large. The programme, which started in 2013, is expected to provide electricity to 14 such SME’s complexes by the year 2020.
