Otjozondjupa Regional Council has started rolling out the drought relief food aid to the needy households at Kalkfeld. About 396 vulnerable households, including an orphanage and 10 individuals at Kalkfeld settlement, about 60 kilometres east of Otjiwarongo, benefitted from the donation.
