The Outjo District Hospital’s maternity ward, which was recently renovated at a cost of about N$100 000, was inaugurated by constituency councillor, Johannes Antsino. The ward was renovated through the Outjo Constituency Development Fund set up to address the needs of communities. The need to renovate the room was necessitated by the lack of privacy for pregnant women in labour.
