The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has nominated Reggie Diergaardt as its candidate for the Khomasdal constituency by-election. The party says youth unemployment and crime, particularly in the suburbs, a shortage of medicines in hospitals, gender-based violence and inadequate education funding are some of the issues that indicate that the country has been in shambles for the past five years.
