The Popular Democratic Movement Youth League (PDMYL) says it will boycott the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, saying after 30 years of political freedom there is very little to celebrate. During a media briefing today, the youth wing added such celebrations are a waste of money, especially considering the country is faced with a crippling health care system, inadequate infrastructure, and proliferation of shacks and poverty.
