There are few ecosystems in the world that have not been impacted by humans. Climate change brought about by human activities can eliminate species and disrupt natural processes, degrading or even destroying complex local webs of life. Against this alarming background, the environmental movement ‘Fridays For Future’, together with other environmental organisations, businesses, schools and institutions of higher education intend to host a peaceful demonstration aimed at raising awareness on the impacts of climate change in Namibia.
