President Hage Geingob has condemned the terror attack on the French City of Nice last night, in which 84 people were killed. The Head of State sent letter of condolence to his French counterpart, Francois Hollande, assuring that Namibians were in solidarity with France as it faced assaults aimed at destroying the liberty and freedoms that country is known for. The attacks were carried out while the country was celebrating Bastille Day. Dr Geingob further expressed condolences to the families that lost loved ones, wishing those injured a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, the man who drove a truck into a crowd celebrating Bstille Day, killing dozens and injuring many more, has been identified as a French-Tunisian.
