President Hage Geingob, in his capacity as Chairperson of SADC, has congratulated Felix Tshisekedi for being elected president of the DRC as that country’s top court declared him the winner of disputed presidential elections. Geingob in a media statement commended the people of DRC, the political leadership and all stakeholders for conducting the elections in a peaceful manner despite security and logistical challenges.
