President Hage Geingob has inaugurated the Grootfontein-Otjinene tarred road. The road is part of the Gobabis-Grootfontein road, which is funded by government at a cost N$684 million. The upgrade of the gravel road to tar is part of the Government’s set targets for infrastructure, which calls for the extension of the bitumen roads by a distance of 526 kilometres.
